The Gostoso Film Festival is one of the most important cultural events in the Northeast region of Brazil, held annually in the city of São Miguel do Gostoso in Rio Grande do Norte. Over the course of five days, Brazilian film releases are shown, divided into the Competitive, Panorama and Special Sessions sections. Two movie theaters are set up on the sands of a paradisiacal beach, attracting an average of two thousand people per night.
